Ashton Blaise Whitty was born on 1 October 1995 at Berkeley, California, USA. She is an actress, well-known for Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House
Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into the family of actors as well as filmmakers. Both professions she herself has taken up. In 1985 she made her acting debut in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni. In 1988 the film of Michele Soavi's The Church was directed by Michele Soavi and she played part of the character Cristina Comencini's Zoo. Later in the year, she was Nanni Moretti's daughter Red Wood Pigeon (1989) (also directed by Moretti). Close Friends, written and directed Michele Placido in 1992, was where Asia's career took off. From playing young girls, she shifted to more complicated and more mature roles. The film received a great reception at the Cannes International Film Festival. The Phantom of the Opera was her third collaboration alongside the father of her. Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome were the two previous films. The other two were Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni employed her deeply absorbed and intense manner of acting in Condannato a nozze. Patrice Chereau was the director. Queen Margot in the film, and she also had a role as the physically challenged girl in the film. In 1995 she worked with Michel Piccoli in Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion , which again won her a David di Donatello and the Grolla of Oro. Asia started directing short films around 1994. She made two: Prospettive In 1996, she produced a documentary on her father; and Abel/Asia from 1998. Both focused on the famous film director Abel Ferrara. This latter was recognized by the Rome Film Festival. Asia made her debut as a director of feature in Scarlet Diva (2000). In this film, she played the role of a lead actor and also wrote the screenplay. The film premiered on 20 May the 20th of May, 2000 in Italy and all over the world. This film was awarded by the Williamsburg Festival in Brooklyn, New York. After directing a number of music videos, she gave birth to her first child, Anna Lou. In 2002, Asia starred on The Red Siren with Jean Marc Barr, and Rob Cohen's Action thriller, which was directed by Vin Diesel. Asia is also the author of a number of short stories, which were published in top magazines.
